Dubai to begin clean-up drive after Creek boat fire The Dubai Municipality is preparing to start clean-up operations after a fire ravaged a cargo boat at the Dubai Creek. The fire, which broke at about 4pm on Sunday, was brought under control by midnight and the crew had managed to escape unharmed. He said that cleaning equipment, including trucks, shovels and tanks, are ready at the site. BhaktiSagar, the vessel, used to regularly run between Dubai and Gujrat. For the cleaning operations, the authorities had deployed tanks, with a capacity of 10,000 gallons to draw water accumulated inside the vessels.
