Spring Cleaning - The Bedrooms of Your Home

Spring Cleaning - The Bedrooms of Your Home

As winter retreats, UK households will be switching to summer mode and with that comes sprucing up the house and garden.

Once that's been taken care of, the inside of the house is all that remains.

However, before starting the spring clean, examine the outside of the buildings to make sure there aren't any blocked drains first. Remove all the laundry, bedding and clear all the surfaces, because before any cleaning can be done, space must be made available.

Start with the surfaces.

Curtains, bedding and blinds. So remove them and give them a good wash (in accordance to washing instructions of course) to be sure there's no lurking dust trapped within the fibres. Any vents, doors, window panes, and cupboards will also need to be cleared of any winter debris, that way the bedroom becomes a blank canvas, giving the opportunity for a new look for the warmer months.

Working from the outside in.

Those are the three key aspects to spring cleaning a bedroom.
