Council pledge to fine owners who fail to tidy up dog mess
NOTTINGHAM City Council has pledged to clamp down on dog owners who fail to clean up after their pets. "The vast majority of citizens do clean up after their pets - it is just a few that let us down. Councillor Alex Norris, portfolio holder for community safety, said: "People in Nottingham identify dog mess as their number 1 irritation. The council has said that fixed penalty notices of £50 will be issued to anyone who is caught not cleaning up after their dog in the city. |
